Description
Garcinia cambogia is a tropical fruit native to Indonesia that is also known as brindleberry, Malabar tamarind, and pot tamarind. It looks like a small pumpkin and is usually pale yellow in color. Garcinia cambogia is extremely sour and is usually not eaten raw but is a common ingredient in curries and other foods. The rind contains high levels of hydroxy citric acid (HCA), a chemical that may assist with weight management.
This extract is standardized to 60% HCA.
