Description
Inositol hexanicotinate (flush-free niacin), also known as inositol nicotinate, is a form of vitamin B (Vitamin B3) that plays an important role in converting food to energy. It is also sometimes referred to as “no-flush niacin.” One downside about taking niacin is that it can cause the speed of blood flowing throughout the body to increase substantially via its ability to dilate the blood vessels. This is known as “flushing.” Taking inositol hexanicotinate allows much slower absorption of the Niacin, which helps negate the flushing side effect (flush-free niacin or no-flush niacin).
